Tasting Notes

This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Carricante 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a sandy vulcanic soil at 730-750 m above sea level in the nort slope of Etna, between Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 10 months in steel tanks in used French barriques, then at least 9 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
