Tasting Notes

This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It shows a delicate pale hue with fresh red-berry aromas and a crisp finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the volcanic soils of Contrada Martinella, at 600 metres above sea level on the North-East slope of Etna. Organic farming. Vinification: destemming, cold maceration for 4 hours, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 4 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
