A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 12% alcohol, it stays light on its feet without sacrificing character. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It shows a delicate pale hue with fresh red-berry aromas and a crisp finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on sandy soils of volcanic origin, at an altitude of 500 m. Vinification: temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged at least 6 months in steel. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
