This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 80% and Nerello Cappuccio 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the northen slope of Etna, at 750 meters above sea level, in a sandy volcanic soil. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in traditional oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and at least 6 in bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
Sicilian producers blend indigenous grapes with international varieties, reflecting the island's rich cultural mix.
