Crafted from Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old sapling vines that are 80 years old In the Nothern-East slope of Etna, in Contrada Moganazzi in Pasopisciaro, rooted in volcanic soil at 650 m above sea level. Vinification: fermentation on the skins in steel tanks. The wine is aged 18 months in French barriques. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
