This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards alberello vines planted in 1932 in Rovittello, a prestigious area located at 700 meters above sea level born in 1911 from the eruption of the volcano and formed by volcanic sands and rich in skeleton. Vinification: fermentation and maceration at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged 24 months in tonneau and large 35 hl oak barrels. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
