The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a sandy volcanic soil at 720 metres above sea level in Castiglione di Sicilia. Vinification: soft pressing and fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature for 14 days. The wine is aged 12 months in big Slavonian oak barrels. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
