This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 90%, Nerello Cappuccio 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the volcanic soils of Contrada Martinella, at 600 metres above sea level on the North-East slope of Etna. Organic farming. Vinification: short cold maceration and fermentation with maceration on the skins in steel tanks for 15 days. The wine is aged 30 months in French used barriques and at least 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
