This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 80%, Nerello Cappuccio 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards alberelli at 700 metres above sea level on vulcanic soils rich in sand and mineral material. Organic farming. Vinification: alcoholic spontaneous fermentation without temperature control with long maceration on the skins and on whole bunch. Unclarified before bottling. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels an 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Sicilian producers blend indigenous grapes with international varieties, reflecting the island's rich cultural mix.
