A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the Contrade Arcuria, Malpasso, Favazza, Guardiola and Feudo di mezzo, on the vineyards of 70-100 years old, at an altitude of 500-100 m. above sea level. The wine is aged 18 months in large oak barrels. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
