Crafted from Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 20 years old sapling vines rooten in sandy volcanic soils at 750 m above sea level. Vinification: soft pressing and spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks with maceration for 8 days. The wine is aged 48 months in steel tanks and 12 in barrique. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
