A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines more than 70 years old, bush-trained at 700 meters altitude with southeastern exposure. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged a few months in steel and at least 6 months in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
