Gewurztraminer Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern

This exceptional Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC showcases the authentic character of Alto Adige. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Gewürztraminer 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 350 metres above sea level on clay and limestone soils. Vinification: destemming, cold maceration for 12 hours, soft pressing, natural decantation, alcoholic fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 3 months on the lees in steel vats. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
