Tasting Notes

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Gewürztraminer 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards grown as espalier at 350-500 meters above sea level, morainic soil and alluvial and sandy soil. The wine is aged 5 months in steel tanks on the lees. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
