Hailing from Piedmont, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 44% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in La Morra, 10-30 years old vines on calcareous and partially sandy soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with maceration in vats controlled temperature for 3/4 days. The wine is aged after 2 years of aging in wood barrels, 24 months in oak barrels used to mature the Sauternes. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
