A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Sicilia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Grillo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 20 years old vines in Marsala in a calcareous sandy soil, cultivated according to the guyot systema without fertilizers or herbicides. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation on the skins in old oak barrels for 10 days, without temperature conditionings. Malolactic fermentation in the same bvarrels. The wine is aged at least 10 months on the lees in the fermentation barrels. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
