This exceptional Lago di Caldaro DOC showcases the authentic character of Alto Adige. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Schiava 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards centenary vines on calcareous, agrarian-sandy soil at 250 metres above sea level, south facing, lake view. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats. The wine is aged 5 months in oak barrels in contact with yeasts. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
