Crafted from Trebbiano Toscano 50%, Malvasia del Chianti 50% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 10-year vines on soils made from Siena tuff, sand and clay. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks, maceration on the skins for 6 days. The wine is aged 14 months in 10 hectolitre Allier oak barrels and 5 hectolitre acacia barrels. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
