A fine example of Campania winemaking, this Vesuvio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Caprettone 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the National Park of Vesuvius in Bosco del Monaco from about 15-25 years old vines located at 250 meters above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and short maceration in steel tanks. The wine is aged 6 months in steel. A wine showing the volcanic and mineral character typical of Campania's soils.
Campania's viticultural roots stretch back to ancient Roman times, among the oldest in Italy.
