A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Lagrein 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards hillside vineyards in Niclara, facing south, southeast, at an altitude of 230-330 m. slm., on rich and gravel moraine soil. Vinification: steel fermentation, then malolactic in barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in barriques, 6 months in large oak barrels, then 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
