Tasting Notes

A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Langhe DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 15.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Barbera 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from a plant of 1948 in the municipality of La Morra, on soils based on clayey and sandy marl. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 4 days in temperature-controlled rotofermenters. The wine is aged 18 months in new French oak barrels. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
