Produced in Piedmont, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Red grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards situated at an altitude of 600-700 metres above sea level, the soils are of volcanic matrix; in this parcel they have a particular texture, consisting of overlapping and alternating layers of lava stone and coarse sand. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks with 15-day maceration. The wine is aged 18 months in large casks. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
