This exceptional Sicilia DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Catarratto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines that are 30 years old average aged faced to North-East at 450 m above sea level, from Tenuta Castelluzzo in Calatafimi. Vinification: cold maceration on the skins for 12 hours at 8°C, soft pressing, static decantation and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 4 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
