This Marsala DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. With 18% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nero d’Avola 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on a slightly clayey soil from Mazara del Vallo area. Vinification: cold maceration of the skins, interruption of the alcoholic fermentation thanks to wine spirit aged for 5 years in oak barrels. The wine is aged at least 24 months in big oak barresl from Allier. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
