A fine example of Abruzzo winemaking, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old vines of about 40 years grown according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Vinification: a part of the grapes is pressed with the feet and goes into the tank with the stalks, then must and skins are added for a short maceration. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 8 months in concrete vats and 4 months in bottle. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
