A fine example of Abruzzo winemaking, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 15.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in pedemontana area, at 550 mt of altitude, on clay and limestone soil. Vinification: maceration on the skins for 25 days and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation for 12 months in steel tanks. The wine is aged 12 months in steel tanks, from 24 to 36 months in first passage barrique and 18 months in bottle. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
