A fine example of Abruzzo winemaking, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards southern exposure at 250 meters above sea level on morainic white soils of stony matrix supported by silts and clays. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in cement tanks, complete malolactic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 10-12 days. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
