Crafted from Montepulciano 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the hill of Controguerra in Abruzzo at 250 mt of altitude on clay soil. Vinification: vinification in steel at a controlled temperature with a long maceration on the skins. The wine is aged 3 months in steel and 10 months in large oak barrels of 25 hl. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
