Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Controguerra at 260 metres above sea level on clayey soils. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel vats at 28°. The wine is aged 6 months in oak Slavonian barrels of 25hl and 3 months in bottle. A wine showing the generous, approachable character typical of Abruzzo wines.
