This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC captures the distinctive personality of Abruzzo terroir. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on clayey soils with limestone presence from 4 different plots: S. Martino sulla Marrucina 400 meters, Ripa Teatina 250 meters, Fara Filiorum Petri 300 meters and Villamagna 280 meters. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 10-15 days. The wine is aged 20 months in steel vats. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
Abruzzo sits between rugged mountains and the Adriatic Sea, producing vibrant, approachable wines.
