This exceptional Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC showcases the authentic character of Abruzzo. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 20 years old vineyards in Spoltore and San Valentino area on clayey soils with South and South-West exposure. Vinification: fermentation and maceration with delestage for about three weeks in steel vats. The wine is aged 18 months in big oak barrels and barriques and 12 months in the bottle. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
