This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC captures the distinctive personality of Abruzzo terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 20 years old vineyards in Spoltore and San Valentino area on clayey soils with Sud and Sud-Ovest esposition. Vinification: fermentation and maceration with delestage for about three weeks in steel vats. The wine is aged 18 months in big oak barrels and barrique, 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting Abruzzo's rugged terrain between mountains and the Adriatic.
