A fine example of Abruzzo winemaking, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 15% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Colle Cave, at an elevation of 400 m. asl, with eastern exposure. Vinification: submerged cap maceration in wood barrels. The wine is aged 24 months in new barriques. A wine showing the generous, approachable character typical of Abruzzo wines.
