Crafted from Montepulciano 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 4 hectares in the municipality of Popoli, planted in 1960 and raised in the Abruzzese pergola, a cru based on limestone and clay-rich soils and pebbles. Organic and biodynamic farming. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts with 10 days of maceration. The wine is aged 24 months in 500 liter French oak barrels of fifth use. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
