This exceptional Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC showcases the authentic character of Abruzzo. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines that are 40 years old on the slopes of Gran Sasso, in a calcareous clayey soil. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation on the skins for 20 days. The wine is aged 18 months in steel tanks, 22 months in barriques and at least 6 months in bottle. A wine reflecting Abruzzo's rugged terrain between mountains and the Adriatic.
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the region's signature red, prized for its generous fruit character.
