A fine example of Abruzzo winemaking, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Cona, at ad altitude of 380 m. above sea level, on a vineyard trellis of 1990. Vinification: maceration lasting between 20 and 28 days. The wine is aged alcoholic fermentation, then 12 months in oak and 18 months in bottle. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
Abruzzo sits between rugged mountains and the Adriatic Sea, producing vibrant, approachable wines.
