Crafted from Montepulciano 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 70-years-old vines from a single vineyard in a soil rich in clay and limestone at 350 m above sea level. Organic farming. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts on the skins for 10 days. The wine is aged 12 months in French tonneaux. A wine showing the generous, approachable character typical of Abruzzo wines.
