Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. With 11.5% alcohol, it delivers elegance and finesse. Crafted from Grecanico 60%, Carricante 40%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the districts of Calderara, Borriglione, Crasà and Picciolo on the north side of Etna from vines of more than 40 years grown on the lava terraces of the great volcano. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in fiberglass tanks and maceration on the skins for 4 days. The wine is aged 18 months in fiberglass vats. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
