Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines over 70 years old in Monte Colla clayey-sandy vineyards, 750 meters above sea level. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, maceration for 50 days. The wine is aged 18 months in fiberglass tanks of about 2000 liters, 18 months then in bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
