A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Langhe DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards south, south-west facing on sandy, stratified soils with gravelly and clay-limestone levels, 250 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel, 7-day maceration, malolactic fermentation carried out. The wine is aged 14 months in large barrels, 4 months in bottle. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
