A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Langhe DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nebbiolo 97%, Barbera 3%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on calcareous clay soil at 340-400 meters above sea level with western exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 10-15 days. Complete malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
The region's continental climate and varied soils create ideal conditions for both indigenous and international grape varieties.
