Nebbiolo 'Sassifraga' Le Strie

Hailing from Lombardy, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 95%, Rossola, Pignola and Brugnola 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines from Valgella, Sassella and Grumello area. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 7 days. The wine is aged 7 months in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the alpine influence found across Lombardy's varied terroir.
