This Nizza DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines located at 250 meters above sea level on hilly terrain with south and south-west exposure. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation at controlled temperature, with contact with the skins for 12-15 days. The wine is aged 9-15 months in small French oak barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 second passage and 1/3 third passage). A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
