Crafted from Nero d’Avola 40%, Merlot 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the clayey soil of the Tenuta Presti e Pegni on Monreale hills at 250 m above sea level, faced to South and South-East. Vinification: destemming, maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks for 10-15 days, malolactic fermentation in small oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in small oak barrels. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
