This Orvieto DOC captures the distinctive personality of Umbria terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Procanico 50%, Grechetto 25%, Verdello, Drupeggio e Malvasia 25%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. Vinification: soft pressing, fermentation in steel tanks with a short maceration for the Pinot Noir and second fermentation in the bottle according to the Traditional Method. The wine is aged at least 24 months on the lees in bottle. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
Umbria is home to Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of Italy's most tannic and age-worthy reds.
