A fine example of Campania winemaking, this Sannio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Piedirosso 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the Pozzillo vineyard on calcareous and volcanic soil at an altitude of 250 meters with south-west exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature for 2 weeks and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 6 months in steel. A wine true to Campania's tradition of structured, age-worthy wines.
Campania's viticultural roots stretch back to ancient Roman times, among the oldest in Italy.
