Pinot Bianco 'Lepus' Franz Haas

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Pinot Bianco 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivate according to the guyot system at 400-800 m above sea level, faced to south and south-west. Vinification: fermentation in steel vats for the 70% and in barrique for the 30%. The wine is aged 5 months on the lees in steel tanks and in barrique. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
