Pinot Bianco 'Mediaevum' Gumphof

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Pinot Bianco 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a calcareous soil at 400-500 m above sea level near to Sciliar hill, in the Southern Valle Isarco. Vinification: soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 6 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
