Tasting Notes

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Pinot Gris 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 8-65 year old vines located in Magrè, Cortaccia and Salorno consisting of sandy and very calcareous soils at 230-450 meters above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 4 months in steel on the lees. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
