A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Pinot Gris 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in the homonymous hamlet Giatl, on the sandy and limestone soils around Cortina. Vinification: cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation in small oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
